How to be Saved

Being saved is at the point of believing.  The word believe is used one hundred twenty-four times in the Book of John.
It is how Christ died for our sins that I want us to meditate thereon, the record of His death as given in the scriptures. "how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"
It is no longer an "if." Christ did die for all, therefore, all had their sins paid for in Christ and therefore all are dead in Christ. His death is just the same as if we all died.
To believe God is our responsibility, It is God's choice to redeem; it is our choice to believe!
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ have already happened. Therefore, the work done for your salvation is already completed, 2Co 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
With all the violence and murder and uncertainty in our world, we never know what a day will bring, but we know dangerous times are here. We all love our families and so many are scattered due to jobs, schedules, demands etc. Every day, we can no longer reach out a touch them physically but by prayer and the gospel, their lives can be affected daily.
We have a salvation that is already finished. It is finished by Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. You are to look back to the cross and rest in the work done for you. Isaiah 53: 4-7, speaks of His work on the Cross.
You must give some thought to my question, "Are you Justified by Faith"? This is a question of examination. It goes to our standing before God. If we are justified, then we are justified by faith through our LORD Jesus Christ. There is no other way to justification except by faith in Christ. If you are saved, you are saved by faith alone in Christ alone.

Peace with God is based on a work done for us. That is the work of Christ on the Cross: His death, burial and resurrection. And that is the Gospel of the Grace of God, Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Joh 6:35 "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. "
By the single act of partaking of Christ (coming to Christ), the Bread of Life, you will never hunger again. By the same act of faith, you drink the Living Water by believing on Christ for eternal life.
Have you ever wondered if you are on the right road?  When it comes to the matter of Eternity, it is too costly to be on the wrong road!  It is too late to change roads after you die!
