How to be Saved

Strange as it may be to the unsaved; the truth remains that only sinners will be saved. And even stranger to the unsaved is that only saved people go to heaven. Tit 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;" After all it was Jesus who said, "......They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Mar 2:17. There will be people who miss heaven because their hope for heaven is based on personal deeds and not on the Word of God and the testimony of Christ.
So well do I remember being convicted of my unsaved condition.  As I sat in Taylor Springs Baptist Church, the words of the preacher flew like a dart and pierced my spirit.  He said, "see yourself as God sees you"; "see yourself a sinner".  Up till then, I had never seen myself as God sees me, a sinner.

When God gave the final things in the Word of God in Revelation 21& 22, He gave the Final Call for a man to be saved and every LORD's Day in the Church that invitation is repeated, Rev 22:16 " I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." Rev 22:17  "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

C = children may come

Christ is your Saviour, that God sent into the world. That is the record of God's Word, the testimony of God. The Word of God can make you wise unto salvation through faith in Christ. 1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
There is no better question to ask than asked by the keeper of the prison in Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And the only answer to his question is that given by Paul and Silas , And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house...
