The LORD went to great length to give you a strong reason to believe Him, That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie….." The two immutable things are His Word and His Oath. In Hebrews 6:13
Justification happens at the moment of, faith alone in Christ alone. Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
He knew you at your beginning and make no mistake, your beginning is at conception. Every birth is a result of a divine creation "……. when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth." When you were formed in your mother's womb away from human eye and touch. It is God who gave you life. Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
This verse says that Jesus is our forerunner, "….Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Jesus is not only the forerunner that carried the anchor He is also the anchor. So Jesus took us and anchored us into heaven itself, the very presence of God. Here we are on earth with the anchor of the Holy Spirit and there in heaven is the anchor of Christ.
Now keep in mind why you must be reconciled to God; because we have sinned and sinned against God. Our sin has separated us from Him. (You have sinned – I have sinned – All have sinned) Sin cannot be excused, looked over, forgot about; it has to be paid for. And the payment for sin is death: Romans 6:23a. For the wages of sin is death; …..: because of our sin we are under the condemnation of death "….but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
To deny self is not something that can be finished with and got out of the way; it must be done daily. That is how and why Christians have lost the joy of their salvation
Do you want to have your inheritance with Christ in eternity? Psalm 103:11-17 are promises to those who fear Him - respects Him. It is not for those who walk in the vanity of their mind.
Therefore, man will by his own free will believe God or he will by his own free will reject God's Word. God will not make you do anything. In His Sovereignty, He created you with your own free will. John 3:18.
Give thanks in the time of great trials. Keep on praying when it seems as if God does not hear you. When you wonder if God has forgotten you, keep on praying. It has been said, " That the Teacher is always quiet during the test".
God forgives us on the basis of what He did for us and that being the finished work of Christ on the Cross. 1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: All sin has been paid for and it is Christ who made the payment. And God has forgiven sin. Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
