Gems of Truth

God gave Jesus for us, not to us. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Because of sin, there had to be a sacrifice and God provided Himself One, Jesus Christ the righteous. So from John 3:16, the Son is the Advocate and the Propitiation in 1 John 2:1-2.
["Yeshua in the Hebrew [O.T. is written in Hebrew] is the same as Jesus and/or the Messiah in the N.T. which is written in Greek.

"Yahweh" is the personal name for God in Hebrew. It refers to His Truthfulness, His Unchangeableness, His Faithfulness, His Eternality: He said: "IAM THAT IAM"

So, you could say, "Yeshua" means Yahweh saves. Jesus [ Yeshua] is God [Yahweh] in the flesh.
For God so loved the world, that he [God the Father, Jehovah, Yahweh] gave his only begotten Son,[Jesus, Who is God in the flesh]
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.]
"If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son."
"Belief is persuasion:" If you are persuaded that something is true, you believe it. Meaning you have confidence in whom you have believed, Paul said, "for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him
The LORD went to great length to give you strong reason to believe Him, "That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie."The two immutable things are His Word and His Oath. In Hebrews 6:13, "For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself," There was none to compare with Him and there is none greater than Him, therefore there was no one to sware by, so He put Himself under oath.
So often we stay in our valley of despair when before us is His promise of life and His Word to give us faith. Just think:

In your mother's womb, He formed you: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee."

On the Cross, He remembered you: "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"

From the future, He invites you: And let him that is athirst come. whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. It is given. You are invited to freely "take" it. "Take" means to accept/believe what is offered.
Mankind says He is slack because He has not come as if He has forgotten but it is His Longsuffering that has delayed His Coming. What does Longsuffering mean? The Lord is not slow I about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. He has long patience with us.
In every weekly Sabbath, the Children of Israel were to cease completely from all their labours as a reminder that all they needed was and is supplied by the Grace of God.
There is no mention of sin in the burnt offering and as our sin offering, He (Christ) becomes our burnt offering.  He makes our sacrifice of service, worship, and praise well pleasing unto the LORD, Phil. 4:18. Therefore as being in Christ, we are acceptable, Ephesians 1:6
In times of our trouble for someone to say, I know brings encouragement and comfort just to think someone understands our plight.
