Christ entered our world in order to be our Saviour! HE, to be our Saviour, had to be taken from us as one of us, Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: Exodus 12:5. That is grace given.
He entered our world to be able to give daily grace, Joh_1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. That is grace added to grace already given. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Heb. 2:17-18
His grace is inexhaustible! Just as there is air to breathe, there is grace to use. For Christ is full of Grace and Truth and has brought all that heaven has and bestowed all on us. He can heal your broken heart, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Psalm 147:3-4.
He knows the number of stars. Man has never discovered the sum or the end of their place of existence. The point being God knows their number when as yet their end is not known to man.
He calls them all by name. A total that we cannot determine or know but yet our LORD does know the sum total and calls them all by name.
Yet, He still knows the hairs of your head and calls you by name as you were included in His death on the cross. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John 2:25. Christ is God's gift of Eternal Life! You may count His record as true and rest in His gift of eternal life to you.
