With all the violence and murder and uncertainty in our world, we never know what a day will bring, but we know dangerous times are here. We all love our families and so many are scattered due to jobs, schedules, demands etc. We can no longer reach out a touch them (physically) but by prayer and the gospel, their lives can be affected dai
Not only do we want our families to be together in heaven the LORD wants us to spend eternity with Him. It is something every person must be sure about. Only you can do the believing, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor. 15:3,4.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ have already happened. Therefore, the work done for your salvation is already completed, 2Co 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
When are you made the righteousness of God?
Answer: When you know He was made sin for you! In the death burial and resurrection of Christ, He was made sin: And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Col. 2:13-14. He took our sin and died in our place and God raised Him from the dead. In the payment of our sin, when He took our sin in His own body, God looked on Christ as if He had lived our life and saw us as if we had lived Christ's life.
Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. He satisfied all the claims of sin and met the demands of the law. He gave us His righteousness.
Because of Christ, you have the right to believe you have eternal life, Rom 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"
