With all the violence and murder and uncertainty in our world, we never know what a day will bring, but we know dangerous times are here. We all love our families and so many are scattered due to jobs, schedules, demands etc. Each day, we can no longer reach out a touch them physically but by prayer and the gospel, their lives can be affected daily.
Not only do we want our families to be together in heaven the LORD wants us to spend eternity with Him. It is something every person must be sure about.
Only you can do the believing, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor. 15:3,4.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ have already happened. Therefore, the work done for your salvation is already completed, 2Co 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Take the time and believe the gospel, the death burial and resurrection of Christ for you. Believe on Him who died on the cross for you. " And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Col. 2:13-14.
Justification is by faith because salvation is by grace, "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace;….." None of us deserve salvation and there is no way for us to make in ourself worthy. If God had not given us Christ, we were without hope " But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. "
As faith was imputed to Abraham for righteousness when he believed God, so it is to us.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake (Abraham) alone, that it (faith) was imputed to him; Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it(faith) shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
