How to be Saved

That All Might Be Saved

By Pastor Roger Redmond
It is no longer an "if." Christ did die for all, therefore, all had their sins paid for in Christ and therefore all are dead in Christ. His death is just the same as if we all died.
To believe God is our responsibility, It is God's choice to redeem; it is our choice to believe!

2Co_6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

1Th_5:8  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

The fact that Christ died for all is proof He desires their salvation.  "All" are included in the finished work of Christ,  including His death burial and resurrection, 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 2Co 5:14  For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 2Co 5:15  And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

"If Christ did not die instead of the 'all', then the 'all' cannot be said to have died"Kruse, C. G. (1987). 2 Corinthians: an introduction and commentary (Vol. 8, p. 121). Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press

It is no longer an "if."  Christ did die for all, therefore, all had their sins paid for in Christ and therefore all are dead in ChristHis death is just the same as if we all died.

To believe God is our responsibility,  It is God's choice to redeem; it is our choice to believe!

Not only do we want our families to be together in heaven the LORD wants us to spend eternity with Him. It is something every person must be sure about.  Only you can do the believing, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor. 15:3,4.

The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ have already happened. Therefore, the work done for your salvation is already completed, 2Co 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

When are you made the righteousness of God?

Answer:  When you know He was made sin for you!  In the death burial and resurrection of Christ, He was made sin: And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Col. 2:13-14.   He took our sin and died in our place and God raised Him from the dead.  In the payment of our sin, when He took our sin in His own body, God looked on Christ as if He had lived our life and saw us as if we had lived Christ's life.  It is a work already done for you on the cross in Christ.  If He took your sin then you no longer have your sin:  He was made sin for you.  He is your Saviour that took away your sin in His own body.

Rom 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. He satisfied all the claims of sin and met the demands of the law.  He is our righteousness.

Because of Christ, you have the right to look back to the cross and take God at His Word, Rom 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"
