From where did the idea come: that I am saved so I can live as I please, go to church when I want, give as I please or ignore the life God has given me? Answer? from the world, the flesh and the devil.
It is my opinion , the creation of Earth completed the creation of the Universe. Our LORD's plan for man was not know by any of the angels or satan, before the fact. The Word of God says, "Let us make man in our image"," us"the God Head. That was a complete surprise to him (satan). And then man was given dominion over the earth, Gen. 1:26. satan could have though he should have the dominion, after all he was the highest in order of angels.
We are brought not only to salvation but to Christ Himself. Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
God's promises are without repentance; He does not change His mind based on man's response. The Bible doctrines of God such as Salvation of the spirit, Salvation of the life and Salvation of the body are eternal truths; truths that never merge with another or each other or lose their identity. If you take a blender and put different ingredients and blend them for a few minutes, you can no longer separate or identify the ingredients. That exactly pictures the Bible doctrine of salvation and the doctrine of rewards (JSOC) as preached and/or as practice by the church today.
He will wipe away the tears from those in heaven but stop and think - and may our hearts, minds be moved – at the GWT in Revelation 20:15. Those there are lost and forever in a lake of fire and there will be tears forever. No one to wipe away their tears! Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
God forgives us on the basis of what He did for us and that being the finished work of Christ on the Cross. 1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: All sin has been paid for and it is Christ who made the payment. And God has forgiven sin. Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: The LORD is the only ONE who can administer justice, because He is the ONE who paid for sin and satisfied the Justice of God
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
There are rewards and loss he shall receive a reward, he shall suffer loss: the loss is not his eternal life, but he himself shall be saved. Then the scripture focuses our attention on this life, Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

When did He purge us from our sin? On the Cross! When? About two thousand years ago. Most people look at the Gospel and try to do something to earn favor, make their self worthy. People look at the gospel and say, if I have enough faith, if I hold out to the end, if I confess all my sins and on and on you could go. However, the Gospel requires you believe it to experience it, 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
I ask you this today: look at Gospel and consider what He did for you and when He did it? And instead of asking Him to do something why not believe that which He did for you some two thousand years ago?

What Belshazzar did is no different than the things that are done today, Dan 5:23 But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
Did not Paul say these things were written for our learning, Rom_15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Our learning, not our doctrine.

Israel is set aside but not forsaken: God will yet in the future deal with Israel as a nation; He has not forsaken them, Roman 9: 24-25 – quoting from Hosea 1:9. In Hosea, you have Israel in prophecy, from their present condition to their end, the Kingdom. What is not seen is the Church Age.
