We must always remember Israel is the wife of Jehovah, God the Father and we are the Bride of Christ to be the Lamb’s wife, Revelation 19:7, Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;? He is speaking to us in the Church age. He is warning the believer in the church not to neglect our great salvation. The importance of this doctrine is seen in the seven letters to the seven churches. In every letter he encourages the believer to know Christ in the power of His resurrection as our Living Saviour. And there is a promise made to the overcomer in every letter
Judgment awaits every born again individual at the judgment seat of Christ. And He wants every believer to hear the words "well done;" therefore, He moved the author of Hebrews to structure his argument around five passages of strong admonishments.
We only think of grace in its relationship to salvation and that is a critical error in thinking. Grace is from the word graciousness. It is the Spirit’s influence on the inner man, Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
When failure touches our life or the life of others, we withdraw ourselves as if God has failed or that His Grace is not sufficient. It is amazing to me that we preach salvation by Grace through faith [ and even that faith is not of ourselves] and in the same breath preach salvation by works, you must keep yourself saved by works or the theology that if you were really saved you would not have done that.
It is His church and not our church. And He adds to His church and His invitation extends to all. Revelation 22:16-17 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Believing happens when we are persuaded of the sufficiency of Jesus Christ, "...for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."

"Belief is persuasion:" If you are persuaded that something is true, you believe it. Meaning you have confidence in whom you have believed. Are you persuaded that Jesus is able to keep that which He promised? "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." John 6:47
I write to you because you believed on Jesus to save you, and Jesus said, I write to you that believe on me so that you may know that ye have eternal life and that you might believe on the name of the Son of God. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1John 5:13. Therefore, do you believe His promise of Life is true? Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Jesus tells us in John 14:2 why He came. He came to prepare a place for you. The Greek word for "place" is not the same word for mansions. If you read without being preempted by someone's opinion the context, put the mansions as already there at the time of His speaking.
Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
